原This is a pretty awesome name, but there are two strong pop culture associations with it (outside of the Bible):1. Uriah Heep, villain of "David Copperfield" (one of Dickens' best novels)&2. Uriah Heep, the 70's rock (early metal?) band who names themselves after association #1.I'm not much of a fan of the band. And while the character Uriah Heep is outstandingly crafted and developed, he's still basically the quintessential sycophant / social climber, which isn't exactly an ideal name association.

This name is chosen by two types of parents: the religious nuts from some backwood places, and the Uriah Heep fans who don't like to broaden their musical horizons, because ''if it was made after 1975, I don't like it!''. Either way, it immediately makes me think that oh, the parents are trash.
原I love this name. However, I feel that it is somewhat unusable considering it's common association with 'urine'. It's too bad though; this would make a cool name.
