原Wow, so I looked up this "The Ring" movie and saw that not only is there a character named Samara, but the names of a family I used to know: Samara, her brother Noah and their mother, Rachel. (the characters don't possess this relationship, of course) Kind of a crude comment but creepy nonetheless!

原My name is Samarra, spelled differently but still great. For the longest time I really hated my name because it was unusual and because I don't speak with my biological mom I could never understand why she picked that out of all her options. After doing some research I found out that the name Samarra is from the Arabic meaning of "night talker" and is also seen as the name of a wise woman. I later found out that my father was Arabian and his name was Samar so my name came from him as well. I know that being different is weird but I think my name is special. It fits well considering I am a night talker for real!
