原It reminds you of cereal because nothing else rhymes with it. Muriel was a hard name to grow up with but now I like the fact that it is unusual. I did not meet another until I was 49! What I like about it I need only give my first name when I call someone because generally they only know one. As it never was popular (at least in my life time) no one can actually guess what generation I'm a part of. Also, when someone yells "Muriel" 999 times out of 1000 they mean me.
