原I commented on this post years ago, and just happened to be looking through it again, and I wanted to second what Alexandra Daniela said-- people *always* want to stick the 'i' in to make it Alexandria. Substitute teachers in high school were my enemy, for that reason. That or they assumed I went by "Alex" which I don't, and never respond to. I'm just not an Alex, and I strongly dislike people automatically calling me Alex. Nevertheless, I (still) love my name.
